2012: Aboriginal spirituality in the Americas

Du 28 novembre au 2 décembre, le Cercle des Premières Nations de l'UQAM (CPNUQAM) vous invite à l'évènement 2012 La spiritualité autochtone dans les Amériques. Il s'agit d'un colloque (ouvert à tous et gratuit!) dont le but est de présenter « l'importance et la diversité des pratiques et croyances spirituelles des cultures des peuples autochtones des trois Amériques » à travers plusieurs présentations et ateliers explorant différents thèmes. Une occasion unique pour découvrir la richesse des cultures et traditions autochtones.

Jacob et Louise Wawatie, aînés anishinabes touchés directement par ce qui se passe à Poigan, y ont confirmé leur participation.

À ne pas manquer, samedi 1er décembre 2012 de 16h30 à 18h: Une présentation sur la vision de l'île de la tortue et SOS Poigan avec grand-père Jacob Wawatie.

From November 28th to December 2nd, the Circle of the First Nations of UQAM (CPNUQAM) invites you to the event "2012: Aboriginal spirituality in the Americas". The event, free and open to all, aims to "present the importance and the diversity of the spiritual practices and beliefs of the aboriginal peoples of the Americas" through many presentations and workshops on different themes. It's a unique opportunity to get in touch with the rich culture and traditions of native peoples all around Americas.

Jacob and Louise Wawatie, Anishinabe elders affected directly by what's happening in Poigan, have confirmed their participation.

Do not miss on Saturday December 1st, 2012, 16:30 to 18:00: A presentation on the vision of turtle island and SOS Poigan with grandfather Jacob Wawatie.
